N.A.K.F.D. is an architectural collective founded by Sondre Hermundstad (Norway), Chris Batuzich (United States), Jason Nam (South Korea), and Louise Nebelzstein (France). The name came from the members’ nationalities and their shared ambition to strip architecture of all things superfluous in order to focus on the essence of materiality and simplistic design.

Their logo is an overlay of the first letter of each nationality and resembles the golden rectangle, a shape used to achieve harmony in art, architecture, and design.
